We wanted to visit Waterfront as an iconic spooky place. It wasn't, but the Bayview was nice. 5 stars are for the best clam chowder ever, in my life, and I've had probably a hundred. Lots of fresh clam, not thick, brought to us piping hot by a native cook who said she just finished cooking it. Unbelievable! There was one server/bartender at Noon Saturday, so we had to wait and the atmosphere is very vibe - but we will be back for that chowder. Also cheap beer on tap and good specials. It's a Cheers type place where everyone knows everyone. Oh, and the fresh cut fries were hot and tasty!

Really love the vibe.. the bartenders are awesome and the locals extremely friendly. Basic bar food to hit the spot. Definitely a great find! And the views are epic from the deck.

The Waterfront Tavern is a bar among bars. Thank you for your strong drinks, great food, and unpretentious ways. Best bar in Bellingham, irrespective of the best views in town to boot.

Friendly staff, good service and lots of good vibes. This place is a hopping hangout, and occasionally they have live music. Their menu is good and can be navigated for gluten-free options.

Haven't yet visited but planning to in December!! I'm so excited not only to try the food BUT mainly because it's the Famous A.K.A. Serial Killer Bar!! Kenneth Bianchi was a regular there and hoping to learn if/and who any other killers were customers!!!! So excited! See yas soon

Loved this place. An actual dive bar in the midst of a lot of non-dive bars that think they want to be. Love this place.

This is a classic Bellingham dive bar right along the waterfront. Unassuming from the outside, it’s actually pretty vibrant on the inside. I only stayed for a couple of beers, but they have seafood items as well. If you’re into history, they call this the Serial Killer bar.
